Double Coupons at Paminda!

Which would be really cool if they had things that I have coupons for!

I ended up using three coupons and getting an extra $2 off my items.

I would have eventually bought the bathroom cleaner, so that's a good deal.

I wouldn't have thought twice about skipping the hand lotion (Olay originally $9, clearance d to $2.40, had a coupon $1/2 so got two and got $2 off) but it was a massive percentage off deal.

We originally went to get shoes for Jeremy. They were originally $34, clearance d to $17, so that was the best deal to me.

Here's a link from the Super Coupon Guy. He posted this a couple days ago. The link let me print 10 (TEN, that's 8 more than most let us print).

Use code: 63829897 to access this coupon (keep hitting back to print more, this coupon has a high print limit per computer)

You are going to have copy and paste the link. I don't know how to fix it ... sorry.

Deals of the week @ Pats (June 30-July 6)

Pat's has some good deals with in-store coupons this ad cycle.

I have found on ebay (seller is kandjadams) manufacturer's coupons for them that make them even better deals.

So here's how deal deals break down:

Oscar Mayer Weiners are on sale for 2 for $3.
There is an in-store coupon for $1 off of 2, making them $1 each.
The manufacturer's coupon is $1 off of 2, making them $.50 each!
(Note if Pat's were to do double coupons like they show on Extreme Coupon, this product would be FREE!)

Kraft Mayo or Miracle Whip is on sale for $2.99.
There is an in-store coupon for $1 off of 1, making them $1.99 each.
The manufacturer's coupon is $1 off of 1, making them $.99 each!
(Note if Pat's were to do double coupons this product would be more than FREE, you'd get a credit of $.01 towards the rest of your grocery order. At afullcup.com they call this a money maker. Please see note at the end of this post.)

Kraft Singles are on sale 2 for $4.
There is an in-store coupon for $1 off of 2, making them $2 each.
The manufacturer's coupon is for $1 off of 2, making them $1 each!
(Once again, if Pat's were to do double coupons, this items would be FREE!)

Note regarding Money Making Coupons. I don't personally agree with this policy. I think that items should only be free, not make you money. Some where along the line someone is loosing out when a customer makes money on a coupon. I know most die hard couponers depend on money makers to make their total order as low as possible. I know if some extreme couponers were to know how I feel, they would consider me a traitor b/c I'm against this policy.

Deals of the week @ Pat's (June 23-29)

Select GM cereals are 4/$10.

There as an In Store coupon of $4 off the purchase of four boxes that brings the cost down to $6.

Today I used $1 off two boxes manufacture's coupon and ended up paying $10 for 8 boxes!

What a sweet deal, a $20.16 savings!

Pat's also has Arrid and Arm & Hammer deodorant 2 for $3. I don't have any coupons, but that's a good deal too, they're on sale for 1/2 price.

So today I paid $20.79 and saved $29.64.
Okay, it's been almost a month since I've posted anything here.

I've gotten a lot of good savings.

I paid $510.92 for $894.80 worth of merchandise.

That's a 43% savings, or 383.88 worth of savings!

In that $510.92 I've included gas for the truck, ink for the printer, groceries at regular price, the good the bad and the ugly.

My favorite savings include the following:

Walmart had Kool Aid packets for sale at $.20 each. I had two different coupons. One was $.50 off the purchase of 5, the other was buy 10 get 2 free. I was able to combine the coupons and paid $1 for 12 packages off Kool Aid! I only had enough coupons to buy 72 packages, but they will last a good long time. (Jeremy can easily drink 1-2 packages a day, so this was a HUGE deal!)

My others include cereal. I've found multiple deals where I've paid from $1 to $1.75 a box. Not the best for diabetics, but I can eat them, so at least it's feeding one of us.

Sunday, May 29, 2011

I now know why some people can't help being extreme couponers.

Today I bought Oscar Meyer hotdogs for 50 cents a package!

Here's how it broke down:

$3.67 - regular price

$1.50 - on sale

I had four coupons (two store, two manufacturer) for $1.00 off two.

I ended up getting 4 packages that would normally cost me $14.68 (regular price) for only $2.00 (on sale and with coupons.)

I was thinking about keeping a running total my savings.

Today I used two $1 coupons printed off the internet at Family Dollar.
Jeremy got me watching the Extreme Couponing show on TLC this last weekend. It got me thinking that there's got to be more ways that I can save us money.

So I started checking out ways to get coupons for products we already use.

There are a lot of websites where you print off the coupons from the internet. A while back when I worked at the local grocery store, they were having trouble with fraudulent coupons printed from the internet and had stopped accepting them. I asked today and they accept coupons printed off of the internet.

I think that Family Dollar may be my best way of saving money. They also let customers use their coupons along with manufacturer's coupons.

I've been on a coupon searching binge today and printed off a bunch that I can use.

My best source of coupons so far has been a website that has a massive amount of links. Couponcabins.com

I'm also thinking about buying coupons on ebay. I haven't gotten to look at anything there yet. It will have to be another day.
